Making A Start

A number of my friends post messages on social media along the lines of;

“The missus and I have decided not to send cards this year, instead we have donated to ******** but we wish you all a Merry Christmas”


Clare and I like receiving cards and in the ones we send the message inside is generic, short and can be tailored to the individual.
And so today I settled at the dining room table and began to write the seventy plus cards that we send.
Experience has shown that putting second class stamps on them will still see them arrive the following day.
