Abstract Thursday - Colour

More smoke in our skies tonight at sunset. This shot is of the sun as it descends through a thick band of smoke like a smouldering ember. I wanted to abstract it as much as I could by cutting out any recognisable features. I’ve put another shot in extras as the sun came out of the band of smoke and just as a group of Ibis conveniently flew by ;o)

Very hot again and still days of it to go before a break in the extremes ugh!

Sorry but I must head off to bed, the heat is very debilitating and I feel like I need a week in bed!! Catch up tomorrow night ;o)xxx
