ma's nip
when my father was first brought here on holiday by his parents in the 1930s they approached from Dorchester and even into his 70s he would still tell me as we drove that road together that it was the first view he had of Lulworth. it is a good view, but not one i can stop on easily.
this blip is of the other approach.... and the big hill, known to most as Hambury Tout, was always called Ma's Nip by our family....there is a tumulus on top you see....perhaps another time i'll get a better tit shot.
