Our bank balance has had a big hit this week with vet visits.

First Banjo visited and had his annual jabs . I also spoke to the vet about his age and some odd behaviour he’s been showing lately. Blood tests were done. Today more were done and he spent the day there as the tests needed to be done so many times. No results yet but may be Cushings disease.

Then last night Lottie started shaking her head side to side, after her walk and I suspected she may have got a grass seed in her ear.
We had this happen last summer and it can be nasty.
So she had to go under quick sedation so the vet could look. Sure enough there was a very big long seed in there. It’s now removed and we are all back home.

Lottie is still a bit sleepy and wobbly.

I suggested to the vet nurse that some clever person should create a head and ear cover for dogs so these seeds can’t get in!
