Wednesday Food Market

Up early and after overnight-soaked oats and seeds for breakfast, I walked up to our Wednesday food market and bought some fruit and veg for the week. It's always great to see the different things on offer and I thought about blipper Briocarioca as I walked around because we sometimes bumped into her here. It feels strange to walk past the gate to her house without popping in, with her and Robin now back in the UK. When I dropped the bags off at the flat, Bb had just finished a coaching call and was on his way out for coffee. I 'joined' him: I went to Cafeina, my favourite local cafe, for coffee and pa na chapa (grilled bread) and Bb went to Apolo, his favourite place for coffee and a little prawn pastry! Next stop was the arts market, next door to Cafeina in the Jewish market. Got a 'eureka' for HB (who sometimes pops into blip) and a couple of little things for myself. Lunch in Adega Perola, the Portuguese tapas bar and a walk in the Barrio and down the front. Stayed in at night, catching up on The Apprentice. We're a bit behind on it I think, so no spoilers please!
