See that little black dot? That’s Rosie off for her daily swim. See the rest of the bleak beach? Yes, it was as freezing cold as it looks.

Before that Jay and I discussed who had brought the bins in. I said he had done it, he said I had. I knew I hadn’t. Etc etc. Until I established that I hadn’t actually taken them out in the first place, just thought that I had. Not worrying at all.

And for my good deed for the day I drove an old lady home from the doctors after the taxi said they would be 20 minutes. She was lovely and said I was lovely too.
