“Ok, deep breath, here goes!”

One of our little sparrows decided, despite the weather, that today was bath day! today’s extra shows the aftermath when said sparrow was caught mid ablutions.
Another pretty dismal day weatherwise. Brisk south westerly winds and some very nasty showers made it another day to prefer being indoors. 
We did manage a decent walk along the canal and met a couple walking their four dogs and carrying a little sprocker pup. The wee thing had been nudged by one of the bigger dogs and ended in the canal! It was fished out quick but was still shivering, even wrapped in a scarf and tucked inside a jacket. I hope they got it home and warmed up quickly!
