Addiction is the Name of the Game
Santa has put in two appearances in the last 24 hours. With the terrible storm of yesterday when ferries were cancelled from north flung lands, he certainly worked his magic to deliver gifts to my door yesterday and today. Thank you Santa and the Mrs Santas.
My social diary had an early start this morning when I meet up with EcoDad on his way to work. He is the recipient of a very large Fair Isle bunnet and Maggie’s the recipient of a very generous donation.
I sent him on his way looking like a true Viking.
With my M&S BirthdayTea voucher clutched in my hot little hand, I meet up with a school friend to cash it in . The sandwiches and scones with cream and jam were delicious and the chit chat entertaining. By the time we had covered all subjects, (2 hours) the queue to be served was out of the Café and snaking into the rest of the shop
The bag of tablet I was given will have to be very strictly rationed.
Our neighbourly meal last night was most enjoyable. 4 wood pigeons met their fate while I, for reasons unknown, had vegan haggis, neeps and tatties. I’m not a signed up vegan or even a vegetarian but I do love spicy haggis and somehow the word ‘pigeon’ conjured up the ones that don’t strut around in the woods.
