Snowy walk...
The promised snow arrived, falling softly and gently in the middle of the night and then fairly heavily for much of the afternoon. The boys had been looking forward to it, but in the end never really got around to making the most of it. Pete and I took Rosie round the grounds of Thorpe Hall just before dusk. The sky was that very particular leaden grey that you get with snowfall, and the views were occluded by fine snow that made it tricky to keep the camera out for long. It was surprisingly hard to walk round as the snow was wet and slushy, and in many areas there was also slippery mud beneath it!
