This tree is for the birds...

...and a couple of mice too!

Dear Diary,

I think I'll have to get a bigger tree!  Except for the little round bird near the bottom and one you can't see, I've made all these felted birds this year.  The other two were gifts last year.  I don't know what got me started on making them but it's a lot of fun.  The little "angel" mouse on top was a gift too.  It is really a fairy mouse but it has wings so a tree topper it has become. I have to stop for now and finish wrapping packages to mail today and tomorrow.  Our weather has returned to cold after a day of nearly spring-like temperatures yesterday.  All my snow is gone now.  There is still plenty of time for more before Christmas!
