Waiting for the Performers

Today was a two concert day! I thought Shelly was kidding when he suggested we go to hear the faculty concert at Western Washington University this evening. We were out to dinner at the time with Helena and her buddy Larry. We'd just spent the afternoon at the Bellingham Symphony Christmas concert. That was aimed at children and included a movie called "The Snowman" with the sound provided live by the orchestra and a children's choir. It was charming. Dinner was at the Soy House where we had yummy Asian food. Shelly was not kidding so after dinner he and I tootled up to the campus and settled in front row seats. The concert was all chamber music and was really fine. It was the perfect way to end the day of music and good food.
