Breaking Light

After clouds throughout the day, I was lucky to be out with my camera just as the sun broke through. I tried to capture the light coming through the trees and because I was shooting directly into the sun, I bracketed my shots.

However, I was disappointed by Lightroom's attempt at exposure blending and I had a go in Photoshop as well. Unfortunately, there was enough wind blowing the branches about to produce ghosting, which probably wouldn't be visible on blip, but I wasn't satisfied.

In the end I chose my best single exposure and worked with that. I think the area around the sun looks a bit weird and the trees maybe too dark. I'll have to keep trying with this type of shot.
