Crisp

A cold day today but beautiful.

Excused myself from book club tonight because just about three hours before showtime my sister in law called to offer two free tickets to Blue Rodeo. The friends who were to accompany them were sick .I was sorry to miss book group but going to the concert was such a good decision. Lucky this wasn't my turn to host book group! And my thanks and get well wishes to the friends whose tickets we used. It was a rock solid, sometimes magical show and the first time I've seen them live in concert.
