Flood Warriors

Well, it was a wild day.

Luckily I moved the cars before going to work. I was only there for two hours when we heard that the Main Street was starting to flood so I had to go home or the water would be too deep to get through. On the way home I discovered that my wellies are leaking but the water came over the top anyway.

Water is slowly receding. I’ve eaten a slab of caramel shortcake and I’m now going to order a new pair of wellies.

Probably won’t collect the cars until the morning.
