Christmas Lunch & Party

A very festive day today!

We had a Christmas lunch for approx 170(!) older people who attend our Monday Meet.
A wonderful team of volunteers cooked a roast turkey & gammon dinner for everyone and the brilliant lady who runs the meeting every week made 170 individual trifles, chocolate mousses & fruit salads :-)

In the evening I went to the WI Christmas party with more food, Secret Santa, raffle, a very difficult quiz (the winning team only scored 18 out of 25!)

The best part of the evening was seeing the tremendous amount of gifts that had been donated to pass onto the Children Carers Centre that is our chosen charity for this year :-D
