Santa, Angel, Star.

The wind was cold and very strong as I went to buy the newspapers and then attended morning Mass. I prefer to go to morning Mass when the evenings are dark, and we are blessed to have a Church at all, after the diocese had difficult decisions to make about which ones to close.
One priest covers three Churches, so we have Mass on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Father Ian covers the sacraments and school Masses as well.
An indoor blip today of three characters on our Christmas tree.
The Santa was from a Christmas Fair. The pearl star from a shop in Accrington where we lived for a little while and an olive wood angel from the Holy Land brought home by Paul's parents, when they went there many years ago with their Church.
All these little treasures have meaning and good memories.
Stay safe in the various weathers everyone. Arthur does not like the howling wind and is happily indoors.
