Monday turned out to be busy, but manageable. 

The weather was a total contrast to the weekend, and I was able to walk to and from work. 

Some excitement arrived later in the day, with BBC News doing some campaigning for the Labour candidate in our constituency. She must be doing very badly if the BBC has to send a reporter their best propagandist all the way from Glasgow. 

We were expecting it. 

I got my Blip outside the Office just as the sun began to show its face.
