Down the hatch!

Well, we really found those waxwings today! Somewhere between fifteen and twenty (they are pretty difficult to count!) were flitting about in Dunblane, near the cemetery.
Watching them feeding on these orange berries, it seems that they can maintain balance by flapping one wing and grabbing berries at the same time. A bit like simultaneously patting your head while rubbing your tummy!
The other Big News today - it didn’t rain! We have made the most of it and fitted in lots of walking. And a short visit to see Fi, Lyall, JJ & AB who are.just back from a long weekend in Copenhagen. Wonderful.
