Plan C

We had planned to spend the morning and have lunch in Stow but the strong cold Northeaster changed our minds and we decided just to go to Wixford for lunch. We got there about 13.15 to find that the pub didn’t open at lunch time on Monday.
Plan c, on to Binton and the Golden Cross. This was open and very busy but had a vacant table for two by the log fire. The lunch was excellent.
Returned via Alcester and W*******e  where we bought nothing, then, almost home, stopped at S******y’s for a chocolate cheese cake and a bottle of their bargain offer brandy.
Trouble didn’t end there, three times I started on this blip  and each time the phone rang, then it was teatime.
