Bridge Builders

Literally, work has started on building a replacement bridge for the Victorian built structure on Gipsy Patch Lane, north Bristol which, for those who know it, is a congested main artery for many commuters. Work started last June and will go on for about two years, including partial and complete road closures, to accommodate the new Metrobus system. The new bridge is being built alongside the old and will be hauled into position on rollers I believe.

I'm so glad that I walk to and from work!
