Bumble

I know where my fascination with bees came from - a few years ago some photos of rhododendrons that I took on holiday in New Zealand revealed bumblebees hiding in the flowers when I looked more closely. The next step was to join the Bumblebee Conservation Trust to learn more about these little creatures. Bees are vital to life ( no bees = hardly any pollination = no plants = bye bye humans ). Unlike butterflies though,they're not much used in artistic projects. So I tend to collect bee things,and was delighted to be given this small cuddly bee for Christmas.
