All a blur...

I've decided to start taking photos out of focus for the most part. The amount of de-focus I have yet to determine, or maybe I will vary it, but after seeing some of the works of Peploe in the Dean Gallery, and reflecting on the Impressionsists exhibit I saw recently, and some works by Edvard Munch earlier last year, I decided that I should have a go at hinting at shape and form rather than detailing it with precision...

Here, I was concentrating on the overall shape of the subject, and the skin hues against the background...
