Merry, Christmas cat

We’ve had a wonderful three days of holiday festivities. Two wonderful parties, memories4me staying overnight and a peaceful ecumenical holiday service in a quaint country church this afternoon.

Merry soaked up the sunshine on the coffee table in the living this morning as we sat and chatted with Memories4me. We looked at a map of Scotland and talked about our planned trip to Scotland in 2021 with the same group of travelers that we went to Ireland with last May..

This evening we set up our fresh cut Christmas tree with Merry. She seems quite uninterested so far, but when it’s decorated things could change.

I’d love good thoughts for D, one of my painting mates. Her elderly mother suffered a catastrophic stroke this week and is slipping away without regaining consciousness. They are together at a wonderful Boston Hospital with caring nurses.
