My 1st light trail

I've been v envious of all those with fancy cameras that are able to capture light night writing and images. At best I've a great point n shoot (reserved for big holidays) or at worse (the majority of the time) I'm a iPhoneblipper which obviously meant no fancy light arty farty images for me....or so I thought!

Thanks to a bit of google & those who develop apps for the smartphone, I was able to brig you this blip!

It's from a torch that was in the complimentary gift bag of the opening ceremony of the Beijing games. the torch has several settings that deliver different images if you vigorously swish it from one side to the other. I know you probably can't tell but I'd like to think that if you squint & wih a bit of imagination you can see the outline of one of the mascots
