Christmas starts here

We bought and decorated the Christmas tree today. Miraculously last year’s lights worked without exception although they were proper tangled up.  All is now looking cosy and seasonal. Scout supervised of course. I had a mince pie and drank a glass of mulled wine.

Our friends from the north dropped in for tea and nostalgia. 

Off to Heathrow in an hour to collect The Dizzle. 

Only downer on the day is the fires raging around Sydney; they are getting too close to our Ozzie branch of the family. Fingers crossed for rain ...
