Chestnuts!!!

I was so excited yesterday when i saw chestnuts at the co-op...so today i roasted them in the oven and we just had a fabulous little treat!  Haven't had roasted chestnuts in many many years..... So yummy!

Terry has been working away at finishing (well making it winter tight) the A frame .... look at those wonderful yellow doors!  (see extra)

I'm trying to get a handle on the very large pile of paper, paintings - good and bad, that lives on the bed in my office.   there is always just enough room for me to lay down when i want to do a bit of reading!   but i'm getting tired of moving it when someone else needs the bed!   so, plans are afoot to organize this pile, there are so many paintings that didn't work out but that can absolutely be reworked....actually usually makes for a more interesting painting with all the history underneath!
