Photobombing phinch! (Especially for dear Hilly!)

I was having a moment with this beautiful cardinal when a house finch ruined the shot!!  But that's ok, he didn't argue for long, and the cardinal finished his lunch.

Massive thanks to everyone who stopped by and left presents for my eight year blip (which I totally forgot with all the activities and traveling this weekend!!)   I will get around to thanking each person soon, but the love is greatly appreciated because the photo was an OK representation of what we were doing rather than a great effort!
After Christmas with the kids, we had a birthday dinner (extra) with our dear friends that we've known for nearly 50 years.  We spent the night at their home, then took our grandson Ryan out for breakfast for his 19th birthday.
Finally we are home, and now in full packing mode for an extended stay after Christmas in the sunny (I hope!!) state of Florida!
