Lifeless

What a long, tiring night.

Initially the wind kept me awake then the firemen. They had been called out to rescue some wedding guests.

The wedding had been at the Alskeith however the road was flooded and a car had broken down in the middle of the road meaning the bus transporting the gusts couldn't get through. So, the bus driver put out a rescue call. Between 3am and 4.30 am the firemen were kept busy pulling the dinghy back and forth along the road full of 'merry' wedding guests. They also found our drive a good resting place for a breather and a blether.

Although there has been more rain today it doesn't look like the road will flood again tonight.
