My Grandad's talent

I spent a fair part of the day with Mum in her bedroom getting things sorted out to make her navigation around the room a little easier and to put stuff more at an easy reach from her dressing table.

This picture has been in her bedroom for as long as I can remember, painted by my grandad who had an amazing talent for someone self taught.  This is particularly impressive given that it was painted onto the glass which basically required the detail to be painted first.  No idea how he did it but you can just imagine how precious it is to the family.
