Windy weather....

....is perfect for windsurfing!
It's Sunday, so we went to Newcastle, as we often do! We had a great walk along the promenade and a coffee. It was very windy, with really strong gusts, so much that the spray from the waves was blowing backwards. When the gusts blew the sand off the beach it really stung my face - it would cost a fortune to go to a salon for microdermabrasion, just go to Newcastle on a windy day, and mother nature does the job for free lol.
We thought there might be wind surfers on the beach at Rossglass, so went via there on our way home - success! There were 9 people having a fantastic time, bouncing over the waves, but taking a photo was a challenge because the wind was so strong that I couldn't hold the phone steady, so the few shots I took were decidedly hit or miss!
