Thelwell lives

Coming down off what passes for a hill in this part of England we encountered this family walking the pony, a very small pony, one that might have been drawn by Thelwell.

It was fun to pass the time of day, to discover that the little girl's parents were "renting" the pony (indefinitely, it seems) and that her sister would have a go on the way down.
