Ice basket

Today's the day ........................... to melt/freeze

Snow always makes everything look different doesn't it? I don't think I had noticed these pretty pink flowers in a hanging basket until they showed up against the melting ice.

Everything went very slushy as the temperature rose ever so slightly - but tonight they are forecasting that temperatures will drop again so we'll probably wake up to ice again.

It's at times like this that - if I could - I would opt for hibernation ..................
