Better News

Have taken more holidays from work so before our meeting with the Consultant today, I decided to get a nice blip. Took this shot of the snow covered Pentland Hills with some trees in the foreground. Sums up this very wintry day perfectly.

Euan started his work placement today at my work. He said he really enjoyed it and he is looking forward to tomorrow so I was quite pleased about that.

The Consultant said to us today that my Dad was doing a lot better than he has been but is no way out of the woods yet. They will do a chest x-ray tomorrow and another blood test to see if the pneumonia has got any better.

My dad was in good spirits this afternoon, he has had cornflakes; custard; ice cream and is off the drip so it's progress. Just got to keep our fingers crossed that he keeps getting better as times goes on.
