It's Not Funny, Really

Technically a back-blip, as it's 11 minutes past midnight, but not to worry. I intended it for Silly Saturday, but have missed the boat ....

Yesterday, I had a bit of a disaster in the laundry department. I chucked in a load of wooly socks, along with a couple of cashmere sweaters - but I forgot to change the programme on the washing machine and they got done at 40 degrees with a vigorous spin cycle. 

The socks, being a wool and nylon mix, were ok. But the sweaters - they are felt, very solid felt. I said to TM that I thought I'd be able to make something with it, and he decided to see how it would do as a hat, Maybe with some pom-poms and a couple of bells ............

PS The sweaters were old and well-worn, so not a tragedy, but I did like them .......
