Today has been VERY busy.

Aunty C has exciting news that A&A have become engaged and set a date. She is very excited.

It snowed - meaning the pooches were also very excited.

Husbands first day back at work after Christmas break - meaning he was kinda excited

And I had LOTS to do and felt very much better so much excitement all round

I spent two hours this morning trying to book a pressie for husband. Or rather two hours with the help call line who then booked it for me.

Jan came to fit a new battery for my car - £121 plus vat. Ouch. It's the wrong size so he's coming back in the morning with correct one.

Dragon 1 phoned to confess she had lost something I bought her and had been looking for days and woken at 5am the day before upset trying to think where it could be. She was phoning to confess the loss and promptly found it whilst on the phone to me. (I am glad when she does things like this as it shows husband I can't help it when I do the same as its clearly in the genes)

I spent two hours trying and succeeding in ordering husbands pressie from dragon 1 and pompa. Very excited. I hope he likes.

Oh and I made soup. Oh and Jamie Oliver's sundries tomato flat bread. Check me out.

It's 9pm and have come to bed. I've managed to do lots of little niggly things today. 100% success rate on today's chores.

Tired but happy and DEFINITELY on the mend.
