A Foul Day

It has been a foul day of continuous heavy rain.

We were at the funeral of Mrs SJR's uncle. He had been ill for some time but hid it well, so  his passing came as a shock to me.
The burial was at the beautiful Glen Spean, Cille Choiril church yard just a stone's throw from his home. There was a short service at the grave as family friends stood in respect in the pouring rain.

The dogs were a bit short changed for wallks today and this was taken in near darkness as we returned from Machine Gun Hill with the rain still lashing.
