Purple, again (Day 1675)
I had just returned from the morning woofer wander when we had a surprise visit from an Openreach engineer. We have been having problems with our phone line for a while, and various engineers have failed to fix it. The complaints procedure is frustrating, and although Openreach sent me an email to say they had received my latest complaint, the engineer didn't seem to know what the fault was. He did a few checks and disappeared, returning after half an hour or so saying that the fault is definitely fixed. We shall see.
Once we were organised, my beautiful wife and I headed to Stromness where I spent all of the daylight hours pressure washing the paths around Mum and Dad's house. Algal growth on the paths had made them all very slippery and a good wash was long overdue.
When I finished the slabs I zoomed off to see Charlotte and Crispin in their new abode where I hooked up their washing machine and gave them a bit of advice about a couple of little plumbing problems.
A busy day, and I have had nothing to photograph for a blip, so another macro of a purple flower.
*edit* I was totally unaware that this would be blip number 2500. I should pay more atterntion...
