Frozen bird bath

This was my first overnight freeze here. Blech! The bird bath was pretty, so I took the opportunity to use Jill's 200mm macro lens. I figure I'll get some use out of it this winter.

In ridiculous news, my company laid off around 200 people yesterday. We were bought by another large media company a couple of months ago, and the bloodletting has begun. Our new CEO says he expects "downsizing" to occur through February. I'm frightened. This stuff always happens when companies are bought. No one is better for it except three millionaires at the top.

My division is safe for now. But who knows what the future holds? I am trying to find work but am having no luck.
