Christmas Market

In Birmingham city centre with Ruth this morning, our first stroll along the stalls coincided with a torrential downpour but it was brighter after lunch. Later we toured the area around a potential new home in the south of the city. It looks promising but we’ll know more after Ruth visits the place next week.

An evening out with Coventry friends tonight. A talk on spiders at the local naturalists club was very interesting ... when I could keep my eyes open! Did you know there are 630 species of spider in the UK?

An unexpected trip to Southampton tomorrow to support Jamie as he prepares for discharge. There was a hiccup today and a visit should help repair the damage.
