Piglet Cottage

No sign of the missing Fitbit - I have been all over the place with the detector app - so I guess it is lost. Fortunately Mrs madwill had an identical one which she no longer uses (as she has a wrist band one now), so I have just paired that one up with my account.

I collected a couple parcels from Wetherby this morning and then took them to the studio and then took an old table to the charity shop nearby.

On the way back home I stopped to photograph the Wharfe at Boston Spa (see extra) - just about to burst its banks, the website tells me it has risen a further 0.25m since I took this. Might be a bit tense in the farm in the background .

Spent the rest of the day emptying and removing a fridge - it will be replaced by a tumble dryer tomorrow. We are also having a new fridge freezer - American style - which will replace ancient and inefficient built in fridge and freezer units (they have been in the house from new when we moved here 23 years ago - and they weren’t very good then! Planning a new kitchen in the New Year.

On our walk today I stopped to photograph this little cottage sign and door bell. I think they are quite sweet.
