A quick garden bird blip before we leave for our annual visit to the BTO conference, which fortunately for us, is not too far away in Derbyshire - one of the perks of living in the middle of the country. We know from past experience that there will be lots of fascinating talks, lots of fellow birders from far and wide to meet and lots of food and drink to be consumed.
