Martin Stephenson and the Dainties

Terrible shot but this is a journal not a portfolio of my photography skills. Plus it's the only photo I took! Great gig by the band in Edinburgh's Voodoo Rooms which like all small Edinburgh venues is too hot, too small and full of people who really need to understand that gig audiences should be fluid groups of people and that you are part of a crowd and that crowd will include people moving about to get drinks, go to the toilet, take a break from the heat etc. People may want to even dance or jump about. You are at a gig, not standing in your house with the right o a clear view of the stage.
Still, the band were on cracking form though, Superb gig. The fiddle player to the left of the shot was fantastic
