What happened to the snow....?

Like a lot of the country we woke this morning to a smattering of snow, and then just to make the kids day it started snowing as we left for school....... ohhhhhh the excitement ;0)

It soon all disappeared though and was replaced buy very cold rain.... apparently we might get some more later tonight ... lets see
