The mussel man.

Stopped of at Brancaster Staithe on the way home. We always like a last look at the sea, and also have a cup of coffee.

We were delighted to see the mussel man working, and you can see him riddling and cleaning the mussels in this very old fashioned contraption. The way they have been doing it for years.
In our opinion the very best we have ever tasted.

Not a bad journey home, although a bit of a holdup on the M62.
However don’t like traveling home in the dark.
Must remember to set off earlier next December. We will certainly be back.
