Shine like a spoon
I love the moon. I love its mystery and its magnificence and its magnetism; the influence it has on the ebb and flow of the tides and of man's emotions. But whenever I try to photograph it it always ends up looking like s**t. A colleague/friend is a fine astro-photographer. I must ask how to improve my efforts (without going down the multi-layered geo-tracked imaging path). I know it must be something to do with reducing the calculated exposure time to avoid the 'burn'. I'll look into it. This isn't a call for advice (yet). Despite its shortcomings, there is something I like about this photo, I just can't quite put my finger on it.
Fairly pleasant day so far. Fiona's away to hand in a birthday present to Jo. Sadie's working. I'm about to start getting Charlie off. Samuel will hopefully make his presence felt. Might get a bit down time for myself this evening (dream on, dreamer).
