Afternoon shadows....

I was invited to join Big Sis and a shared friend on a visit to Castle Farm Hop shop, Eynsford, the home of the lavender fields. No lavender today of course, but we enjoyed a gentle walk in glorious sunshine to the top of the hill to view the beautiful countryside.

The Hop Shop offered many gift enticements. We were home before dark which now means early. D had gone for a haircut then a meet with ex colleagues in Kensington and I hunkered down with a cup of tea and a magazine full of beautiful images.....and then did some more useful things.

Joff called with timings for tomorrow and our meet in town. We’re looking forward to seeing the family after a while. My steadily improving back will not stop that.
