...for the moment anyway. 
It's an ever-changing collage....

My brother and his wife are arriving in a couple of hours for a short visit. It looks like it is going to be raining most of the time they are here,  but with any luck they are flying above the clouds and it will have cleared by the time they land.

I listened for awhile, not to the actual impeachment testimony by legal experts, but to the rehashing of what was said during the NPR analysis. I think the best thing I heard was someone who said there is a record of what was done and what was said with testimony to corroborate. The only question now is, did he commit an impeachable offense? 

Past impeachment trials were revisited, but the striking thing to me was that Clinton's and even Nixon's offenses (Clinton was impeached and Nixon resigned before there could be a vote) pale in gravity next to the breeches in national security for personal gain committed by this president. 

Characteristically, he never admits wrongdoing despite the record and there are enough Republicans who will accept that black is white so that he will probably be acquitted.One can only hope that when the Republicans have to stand up and explain their vote that they will at least have the courage to censure him....

I kept busy mopping the floor and making the beds lest I implode....
