Spoilt Rotten

I was invited out for the day by a dear friend and what a day it was. 
We started off at Blenheim, making the most of the misty morning before the sun burnt it off. 
We then wandered around the Christmas market, whilst waiting for our timed tickets to see Alice At The Palace.  We both thought that it surpassed the Cinderella themed exhibition last year. 
Another look around the market, where we sampled gins and cheeses. We discovered a gorgeous gin made in the Hebrides, so my friend bought us both a miniature as a reminder of my holidays up there. 
The queue for a coffee was ridiculous, so we drove to Thrupp and grabbed a bite to eat in the tearoom by the canal. Everything is homemade and delicious and once again I wasn't allowed to get my purse out. 
We finished the day in town and a bit of retail therapy. Not usually my idea of fun but we had a really great laugh and promised ourselves to get together more often.
