DAY 2 RUDESHEIM

Overnight we travelled nearly nearly 100km...this morning we were still travelling.
After a big breakfast...we had a safety talk. I know it’s necessary but he did drag it out which was frustrating a lot of people!!
Then it was up on deck for a breakfast mulled wine!!!
We continued to cruise until 1:30...# this is one of the many views from our bed/balcony. Although it’s chilly the sunshine is lovely.
Whilst the younger members of our party walked around the market we chose to go on the land train to the Mechanical Music Museum. It was really fascinating how they had restored these instruments.... working Orchestron, music boxes and a 6 stringed violins.
#Then we got the cable car to Germania on the Niederwald monument. She is “the guard of the Rhine” The views were amazing.
After dinner M&O joined us to go round the markets again by night ending the day with
#an Asbach Kaffe.....flaming brandy coffee with cream....mmmmmm
