Christmas Tree Festival

I took MIL on a WI coach outing to Melton Mowbray to the Dickensian Market and to see over 1,000 decorated Christmas Trees inside the wonderful medieval church :-)

We were so impressed that no 2 trees looked alike! So many different societies, shops, schools & 5 WI groups (!) took part and completely filled the church. Some truly talented people had let their imaginations run wild with artistic flair & ideas.

I loved the Nutcracker tree made by a sugar craft group, but my favourite display had to be my thumbnail made by a wood turning society :-D
